Tuesday’s work

Tuesday is our PE day. We will also be carying on with our circle work and our stories.

To start the day, I want you looking at the Morning maths. Morning-maths answers

Yesterday we looked at circles and working out the radius and the diameter. Today I want you spending the lesson playing games.

Circle games

This is a link to 5 games where you have to identify parts of a circle. We have looked at a radius and diameter but not other parts. Playing these games will help you identify more parts. Start with circle pairs games. I don’t mind what order you do the others.

When you have played them all I would like you to draw your own circle and label it with the names of all of the different parts. You will need to label the : radius, diameter, circumference, tangent, chord, arc, segment, sector, centre and semi-circle.

For English I want you spending the next three days planning, editing and finishing your own stories. We have looked at openings, writing character descriptions and describing the setting. Yesterday we looked at using complex sentences. Use all of these ideas to produce a finished story yourself.

For PE try a workout with Joe Wicks.
