Tuesday afternoon is reading skills, science, story time and the daily mile.

1.30 – 1.50pm: Reading skills

Look again at The Three Little Pigs. How does the story start? (With ‘Once upon a time’) Look at some more fairy/traditional tales and see how they start. Do they also start with ‘Once upon a time’? What stories can you find that start like this?

1.50 – 2.30: Science

If you are going on a walk later then you may want to combine this task with your walk! Go outside and see if you can find some wild plants. Use this sheet, or the idea of it, to count what you see and make a tally of how many of each plant you find. Remember: no picking, no licking! Activity Sheet Wild Plant Hunt

2.30 – 2.45pm: Story time

Find a lovely story and a relaxing place to enjoy reading it.

2.45 onward: Daily Mile

Go for a walk, a run or enjoy time outside.
