A reminder that on Tuesday it is our PE day. If you have a light raincoat that you could bring in I think that would be great.

Lots of the children didn’t have wellies in today – where possible please try to get the children to wear these as it means we can use the grass areas for break and lunch time.

The children are enjoying listening to the class novel. It reminds me of a book I enjoyed reading as a child – Treasure Island.

I wonder if anyone could find out the following:

Who wrote it?

When was it first published?

Which Inn did the story start in?

Who is one legged?

Who was marrooned on the Island from years ago?

If your child knows any of these answers they could email me or get in touch through classroom. It might be worth a prize.

I would like to know by 7:00pm on Tuesday at the latest.
