We have good news – our pupils will still be able to enjoy a theatre performance here at school this summer on Thursday 20th May!
M&M Productions, who also performed last December’s pantomime for us, have now produced another Covid-friendly cinematic theatre production, ‘Treasure Island’, to use in schools.
As before, a huge cinematic screen will be erected in the school hall, and one actor will perform their part of the show by interacting with the pre-recorded performance on-screen. There will be 3 showings throughout the day to ensure each bubble has a socially-distanced slot.
The cost of the performance per child is £4.50 and is payable on School Money.
We will also be having a ‘Dress as a Pirate’ day on the same day. This isn’t a fundraiser (so please don’t send in any donations), it’s just a bit of fun at school to accompany the theatre performances that day. Please don’t buy any outfits specially, a home-made outfit would be brilliant and easy to do – a t-shirt, paper eye-patch, even borrow a waistcoat and create a make-up ‘beard’ if you want to! Just have fun with it!
