Can you believe it’s Thursday already?! Here’s the rundown for today:

8.45 – 9.00: Spellings

9.05 – 10.00 Maths

Practise counting in 2s, 5s and 10s both forwards and backwards. Use the 100 square to highlight the numbers that you say as you count (up to the tenth multiple). Look at the numbers at the bottom of the sheet. Do you say the number when you count in 2s, 5s or 10s? Position the numbers first before sticking, as you may need to move them around! 10.00 – 10.15: Break

10.15 – 11.00 English

Let’s practise using ‘and’ to join ideas together. Complete the sentences using ‘and’ but remember: the ‘a’ on ‘and’ is NOT a capital letter, and only put a full stop at the very end of your sentence! t-l-5502d-joining-words-and-clauses-using-and-application-activity-sheet-middle-ability

11.00 – 11.15: Phonics

Have a go at the Phonics Screening practice. How many words did you get right? Spend some time going back over the words you found tricky and make a note of the graphemes you need to practise. t-l-526427-phonics-screening-practice-homework-list-2-checklist-english_ver_4 By the way, I haven’t heard that this year’s Phonics Screening isn’t happening, but it all obviously depends on what happens over the next few weeks – I’ll keep you posted!
