Thursday afternoons involve reading skills, science and the daily mile.

1.30 – 1.50pm: Reading skills

1.50 – 2.45pm: Watch the time-lapse video of the bean growing and describe what has happened between Day 21 and the end of the recording (Day 25)? Please note, the video starts again from Day 1 after this! Remember to think about the stem, the leaves and the roots. What would you expect to happen next?

Have a go at sorting the tree pictures into two groups, evergreen and deciduous. You may need to do a bit of research for some of them to find out more about them first. If you know of more trees (maybe the ones you took photos of), you could include these in your sorting too. Deciduous or Evergreen Sorting Cards

Remember to check on your own plants too! Do they need more water? How well are they growing? How have they changed since you last looked at them?

2.45 onward: Daily mile/outdoors time

Go outside and enjoy the lovely weather! Remember to stay hydrated.
