Today we will be doing Literacy, Maths and Letters and Sounds.
Literacy:
Now that you have learnt about the life cycle of a butterfly, we are going to start learning about the life cycle of a frog. Have a look at the video below, it’s very interesting seeing all the different stages that the tadpoles go through before they become frogs.
There is also a PowerPoint to have a look at if you prefer.
Can you complete the sheet below and put the stages of a frog’s life cycle in the correct order. Then can you label each picture with the correct terms (frogspawn, tadpole, froglet, frog).
Maths:
I hope you enjoyed the code-a-pillar app yesterday, I have another app for you to try out today. It is the BeeBot app, which again is free to download. It’s very similar to code-a-pillar, but the instructions that you need to give are a little bit more complex. We have had a go at this one in school, but it was a while ago now!
Letters and Sounds:
Today I would like you to watch another lesson from the Letters and Sounds YouTube channel. Remember to choose from the learning to blend or Reception lessons.
