Following the sad news that our school has had to close due to issues arising from the Covid-19 virus, I wanted to update you on how we will be staying in touch over the next days and weeks.

I will be uploading lesson suggestions for the week via the website. You do not need a password to access these – you just need to click on the News and Updates link from the home page. From there you will need to click on classes and then finally click on Room 8 (scroll down the page to find us).

The children also have access to a shared ‘virtual’ classroom via Google Drive. We will go over how to log in to this and this will also be used to share tasks.

An example of how tasks might appear on the website is below – you click on the link and the task should be displayed. Children might want to print. However, I will endeavour to make tasks things they can work on from the screen and record ideas on paper (children in school on 18th March will be given an exercise book).
