Next Wednesday (30th), we are planning to take the Year 1 children on a walk around Pontesbury looking at the different buildings, and considering if they are old or new, as part of our history topic. We will remain aware of staying covid-safe and will stay in our own bubble, socially distanced from any locals we pass.

Could you please ensure that on this day your child brings a coat to school and a water bottle? They will need a sun hat and sun cream if it is hot and sunny that day. They are also welcome to wear comfy trainers instead of school shoes on that day if they wish. The walk will take place during the school day and will not affect lunchtime at all.
