Monday 20th April

Welcome back everyone!

Today it is Maths, P.E, English and Science.

Maths

First of all, produce a poster about what you know about the number 20. Try and include your knowledge of decimal numbers! Next, stand up and say your square numbers and then your 6 times tables. Remember I need to hear you!

After that, try lesson 1 on the white rose maths/ home learning website. Remember to watch the video clip and then do the worksheets.

P.E

Try the P.E. session with Joe Wicks.

English

This week we are going to begin writing a biography. Remember the purpose of a biography is to give an account of someone’s life. Some of you have already researched the life of the artist Mondrian. Some of you might want to research an author of your choice.

Today, please can you decide who you would like to write about, research them and record the key events in their life in time order. Tomorrow we will start writing the biography.

If you think you have already done enough research, you might like to have a go at making a card. Look at Mrs Andrew’s suggestions on the school webpage.

Science

In the afternoon, after you have read for twenty minutes, why don’t you go on the BBC Bitesize website, to the KS2 Science section and click on the electricity section. Here you will find a section about circuits. Click on the how do you draw electrical symbols and diagrams section. Make a poster to show your knowledge.
