We are going to combine our English work with our Design  and Technology this week .  Our D&T this term is cookery so hold onto your hats!

Today I would like you to read the recipe for a smoothie below.  I’d like you to find the features of the recipe and answer a couple of simple questions on the sheet below.

Monday afternoon is PE and Art.

Art:

You are amazing at using the skills of pointillism.  You can now make one colour appear lighter or darker by spacing your dots out carefully and you can mix colours.  This week I think you are ready to use these skills in a piece of your own artwork.  You can choose your favourite animal, plant, or even a family portrait.  Draw it out in pencil first. Just the outlines, you don’t need too much detail.  Then get your paints, pens or pencils out and colour in the detail using dots.
