We are having a slight restructuring of lessons during our school day to create five clearly defined teaching sessions each day, with an additional dedicated session targeting whole class reading skills. The changes will mean that lunchtime will be at a slightly later time each day. The newly restructured timetable will start on Monday 2nd December.
The school day will still start promptly when the doors open at 8.45am. Although the doors are open until 9.00am, the 15 minutes between 8.45am and 9.00am is still very important and your child will miss a lot of teaching if they miss this 15 minute slot on a regular basis. If your child arrives at 9.00am every day for an academic year, they will miss 47.5 hours (more than 8 school days) of teaching time.
The school day will still finish at 3.15pm as before.
