Grapes are a good healthy fruit snack but if you include grapes in your child’s packed lunch, please remember to always cut them lengthwise first.
Please note: our School Catering Staff are all very vigilant and so all grapes served at school (e.g. in our fruit salad) are always cut lengthwise to prevent a choking hazard.

Although the medical advice is generally for children under the age of five, it can still be a choking hazard for all. Grapes differ quite considerably in size and are always worth cutting up before consuming.
