Friday’s work.

The end of the week. Hardly any shocks that the weather is not supposed to be so great for the weekend. I hope you have been able to enjoy it the last two days. Some children will have had the day off on Thursday because of the weather (I can’t complain as I suggested that they did so). If that is the case they may want to look at Thursday’s work instead of today’s. They certainly do not need to do both.

Maths on a Friday is the challenge day. This is the same for Year 5 and Year 6 and is exactly the same on Whiterose and bitesize so there is only one link.

For English and history I would like you to write a short story. You are walking along and you fall over. You wake up and you are in Victorian England. Tell me about your day. You could go to school, the workhouse, you could be rich/poor/ a child/ an adult – the choice is yours.

On a Friday we would have a library session. Find time to curl up and read a book.

Have a lovely weekend – I am really looking forward to seeing those of you that have signed up for a video meeting next week. More details of how to do this are on classroom.
