Friday’s science

Like last week we are going to be looking at a famous scientist. This week it is Alexander Fleming.

If you look at the Lesson Plan Alexander Fleming it tells you what you need to do. You can also join teams at 1:30 and i will go over this so you don’t need to worry.

Look at the Lesson Presentation Alexander Fleming.

Try to answer the questions on the PowerPoint. You do not have to write these down. I apologise in advance if this does not format properly on all devices. It works in school but I know that is no guarantee it will work for all of you. Remember though you could join on teams and then there is no worry.

Then describe what Alexander Fleming was like. You could say about his life and how he discovered penicillin. To help you use the Alexander Fleming writing sheet

Use the differentiated Penicillin Effects Activity Sheet to create a scatter graph to show the effects of penicillin on a bacteria colony. Answer questions about the data shown in your scatter graphs.
