Just a little reminder, please complete and return the Flu Immunisation consent form by Friday 14th October, at the latest.
We need all consent forms back to school whether your child/children will be having the flu spray or not.
Thank you to everyone that has already brought their consent forms back to school.
Thank you!
If your child is invited to a birthday party after school any time and your child will be collected by someone other than yourself at the end of a school day to go straight to the party, please can you let either your child’s teacher or the school office know. For safety reasons we are unable to allow children to go home with other parents/adults if we haven’t had parental permission in advance. Thanks everyone!
Please do not double park near school. Regardless of it not being on double yellows, a double-parked car causes traffic-flow problems, makes crossing the road even more dangerous for pedestrians and could seriously impact emergency services getting through.
Thank you to all parents who walk to school or abide by the local parking restrictions.
It’s that time of year again when the School Nurses come in to administer the flu vaccine (flu spray up the nose) to all pupils. They will be in school on Monday 14th November 2022.
Their letter and consent form will be coming home with every child this week, and the School Nurses request that you return the form to the school office within one week. They also stipulate that all forms must be completed and returned whether you wish your child to have the flu spray or not.
It would be hugely helpful if you could return the forms promptly so we (in the school office) do not need to spend a great deal of time chasing (nagging!) parents for the forms! Thank you in advance – it will be really appreciated.

Please note, next half term (Autumn 2 – Nov/Dec), the Football after-school club will be split into two age-appropriate groups as follows:
Tuesdays – (older group) Football for pupils in years 4-6;
Fridays – (younger group) Football for pupils in years 1-3.
The Tag-Rugby after-school club will only be for years 4-6 next half term.
Multisports on Mondays will finish on Monday 17th October and be changing to Netball for years 2-6 during Autumn 2.
There will also be a couple of new clubs to choose from including a KS2 Board Games Club, and a Top Hat Drama Club for years 4-6.
We have huge amounts of unnamed uniform, coats, footwear and PE kit circulating around school, which we don’t have a hope of reuniting with their owners!
Please, please put your child’s name in every item of clothing they wear to school, including coats and hats. Please also remind and encourage your child at home to remember to pick up discarded coats/jumpers etc when they are ready to go back to class or leave school at the end of each day.
Your help in reinforcing this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Mr Rogers would like all children who take part in his after-school sports clubs to please bring a coat. He will be running every club outside even in the wind and rain (unless it’s torrential) and as the weather gets more autumnal, the children will need their coats with them.
Thanks everyone!
P.S. Keep an eye out for new clubs for Autumn 2 (Nov/Dec) being advertised soon!
