We had so much fun at the park this afternoon! All the children walked through the village beautifully and were very well behaved when we were out and about.

Room 4 Pontesbury Park Treat
Room 4 have been working incredibly hard to fill up our Mr Potato head this term and they have finally done it! As their class reward they have chosen to spend the afternoon at Pontesbury park. We are planning to go on Wednesday 16th May, so on that day please make sure that children are sent in with sunhats, sun cream and / or coats depending on the weather. Thank you!
Room 4’s Visit to the Museum
Room 4 had an amazing day at the Shrewsbury Museum today! We spent the morning singing mammoth songs, hunting for mammoths and making clay mammoths. We then explored the museum in the afternoon – the children particularly enjoyed the Lego exhibition, dressing up and lunch time! Room 4’s behaviour was exceptional and we all had a great day (adults and children alike!)
Chinese New Year
This week in Room 4 we have been leaning all about Chinese New Year. We have read and acted out the story and also found out about some of their traditions. This afternoon we did some dragon dancing! Some children played the drums, some children were the dragon and moved depending on how the drums were being played. The rest of he children were the audience and enjoyed watching and clapping along!
Reception children (Room 4) – Orthoptist visit postponed
