I’ve just had a sneak preview of Thursday’s class assembly and it is adorable.

Due to the extra Nativity performance there will now be no Forest School this week (week beginning 10th December). Forest School will be on a Tuesday as usual on the last week of term.

Families can book a maximum of three tickets to watch the performances at a cost of 50p per ticket. The tickets can be split across the two performances if preferred (e.g. two tickets for the Tuesday performance and one for the Thursday performance).
Once you have booked your tickets on the parents evening system online, please pay for them at the school office or we will set up an online payment. To reduce the amount of waste, thus saving the school money and the possibility of lost tickets, no paper tickets will be printed/issued. We will check you off against our list on arrival.
Next week we have an exciting project planned for Room 4! For this, please can you send your child in with a glass jar (jam jar size or similar) by Wednesday 10th October. Thank you!
Every Tuesday morning (unless otherwise stated) the children will be taking part in Forest Schools. They need to come to school wearing their forest school clothes.
Suitable clothing
This half term we are doing PE on a Tuesday afternoon so you will not need to send in any clothes to change into after Forest Schools.
After PE we will change the children back into their Forest Schools clothes to come home, gosh what a lot of changes, if they are not very good at dressing themselves they soon will be, getting lots of practise on a Tuesday!
We had an amazing time on Pontesford Hill today! We searched for minibeasts and went on a hunt to find objects using our different senses. And, of course, we did A LOT of walking! What a brilliant way to end the school year!
Due to Room 4 spending the morning with their new teacher next Tuesday, next week Forest School will be taking place on Wednesday (4th July). Please send children in wearing school uniform on Tuesday and their Forest School clothes on Wednesday. Thank you!
