It has been so lovely to hear about the books people have been reading at home and to sort out more books for people who have run out of books during lockdown! Some of Room 8 have been sharing book reviews with me on Google Classroom:

Harry Lee sent me his book review as a video! Unfortunately the file is too big to put on here, but it reminded me why The Last Chance Hotel is such a fantastic read! Magic, mystery, vivid characters and a creepy hotel as the setting.

We have had an incredible delivery of books for the school library. Our friends at Button and Bear helped organise the most amazing selection of picture books, comic books, poetry selections, novels and non-fiction texts. I am incredibly excited for you to explore them when we get back to school (I don’t know when that will be I’m afraid, but as soon as we know I will let you know).
