For our art this term we are going to be looking at adaptation of animals. This will involve us choosing an animal, thinking how it has adapted then drawing it before trying to make a clay model.

I know that for many children at home the clay part will not be possible. When the children in school are doing this those at home can use the time to complete their own art projects. Obviously if they have access to clay they will be able to join in. There will be the chance to watch the lessons being taught when we come to the clay part.

For tomorrow I would like the children choosing an animal and having a go at drawing it as carefully as they can. There are a number of sites they could choose to help them with this if they type in how to draw ……………..

This will be an ongoing activity so they do not need to hand anything in on Friday.
