Please see below for an invitation from Anne Bradley (secretary of the Friends of Pontesford and Earl’s Hill) to the first of this year’s Earl’s Hill anniversary events:
Celebrate the Arrival of Spring!
Earl’s Hill Sixtieth Anniversary Party at dawn on the summit – Sunday March 20th
Earl’s Hill became the first Shropshire Wildlife Trust nature reserve in 1962, the same year that the Trust was founded. This year there will be lots of celebrations.
Start it all off by joining the Friends of the Hill at the summit trig point to greet the dawn at 6:14am on Sunday 20th March.
Please arrive at the Hill on foot or share a car to avoid car park congestion.
Bring your own hot drink and we’ll provide the Hignett’s buns. 😊
Spring is on the way!
