In science, children develop their understanding of science and the world through Key Knowledge and development and application of enquiry skills during practical investigations.
Topics follow the National Curriculum and are taught (usually) in half-termly blocks. Key Knowledge is well-sequenced to allow pupils to make connections and build upon prior knowledge.
We also work in partnership with Mary Webb School and Science College who deliver STEAM projects and ‘Junior Scientists’ for children in Year 6.
