The Shropshire Music Service teachers give high quality lessons to all pupils interested in learning an instrument. The Music Service teachers visit our school on a weekly basis and give lessons during the school day. If your child is interested in learning an instrument, please read on!
Parents are billed termly directly through the Shropshire Music Service (not through our school any more).
Our pupils have benefitted greatly over the years from the brilliant music teachers who provided excellent music tuition at our school:
- Percussion (drums etc) – Mr Andrew Maher;
- Keyboard and Woodwind (piano, keyboard, flute, clarinet etc) – Mrs Karen Kirkland
- Strings (cello and violin etc) – Mrs Jane Magee;
- Strings (guitar, ukulele etc) – Mr James Rickard;
- Brass (french horn, trombone, trumpet etc) – Mr Chris Stevens.
So many to choose from! You do not have to buy an instrument, as the Music Service have a wide variety of beginner instruments available to hire (with the exception of guitars and drums) at very cheap rates.
