Remote learning timetable

Remote learning timetable – I thought it might be useful for you to have a copy of this.

This last week I have been trialling having Microsoft Teams on in my room throughout the day so that children at home can see me teach the lessons and see each other. It seems to be popular with lots of the children.

The timetable attached shows when I will be introducing or teaching ‘live’ next week so the children know the timings. You will see I have missed out things such as: breaks, lunches, washing hands, registers etc as those at home don’t need to be involved with these through teams.

You will also note I have put some links for some subjects as those at home will be able to access these at any time.

If you aren’t aware of Microsoft Teams it is like Zoom. That means the children can see me, the classroom and each other throughout the day. All they have to do is click on the link and then put in their school details which is something like: 14Surname.A@pontesbury.shropshire.sch.uk followed by their password.

They can also set up their own meetings to then work together.

The meetings start at 8:30am and finish at 4:00pm. They can join at any time and leave at any time.

I will post the specific lessons and sheets for next week later in the weekend.

Mr Morris
