Your children may have mentioned our new class book for this term is The Nothing To See Here Hotel by Steven Butler and illustrated by Steven Lenton. They are loving it and are regularly laughing out loud!
I’m not sure if many of you follow the school’s Twitter page, but I posted a tweet the other day to say we were really enjoying the book and shared a few pieces of our work.
I was so excited to see we received messages back from both the author and illustrator saying how happy they were to see us enjoying their book. I will share these with the children next week, but I thought you may like to show them at home.
If the children are enjoying this book there are 3 more in the series which we do have in class that they can borrow. Or if you’d like to order any of the books for Christmas presents the The Book Nook down in Hove has many signed copies of these books (and others) available.
The Books for Topics website has some wonderful suggestions for children’s books for Christmas too.
Our Wild Way Home books are on their way to us and will hopefully be sent out this week.
