Now more than ever …….
It’s that time again when I start collecting food for the Christmas Hampers, in normal circumstances you are asked to nominate someone who you think needs a little Christmas Cheer but this year with the help of volunteers I have decided to extend it to families receiving free school meals and families who are struggling financially due to the pandemic. Obviously we will still be including the elderly or someone that just needs to know they are not forgotten. So please get in touch if you know someone…….
I would also like to add to all the hampers a Christmas Card and would like to run a competition which I am hoping all of you at school will enter. The chosen card will be printed by the Parish Council and added to all the Christmas Hampers. The theme is ‘Friendship, helping your neighbour & Christmas‘
Please use a sheet of A4 paper for your Christmas Card design and put your name and age on the reverse of your design.
There will be a box in reception to post your entry.
Closing date is Friday 20th November.
Food items can be left at the school reception and will be collected up to the 20th November. Ideas are – selection boxes, mince pies, Christmas puddings, crackers, sweets, chocolate, tinned food – ham, beans, corned beef, rice puddings etc. Hot chocolate, Horlicks, Ovaltine, teabags, we will be grateful for anything. As always please ensure all items are well within their use by date
We are so lucky to live in a generous community, thanking you once again for your support.
