I hope everyone has had a great Summer holiday.

I am sure lots of you are feeling a little bit excited about coming back to school and a little bit nervous about how school is going to look. (I am a little bit too). There will be time put aside to talk about how people are feeling.

On the plus side you know the room and you know me. One change is that Miss Hughes has left to be a teacher of her own class (they are very lucky) and Mrs Green and Miss Lewis will be working with us (we are very lucky).

On the tab at the top you will see it says information. Here I have put links to the planning for this half term. This might change slightly over time as we may need different amounts of time in the different areas. It does give you an idea what to expect though.

You will see that PE is on a Tuesday. For this day you are asked to come into school in a PE kit for the day.

Now that you are in Year 6 you are allowed to make your own way into school and home again IF we have had permission from your parents. This can be done by email. Without this permission you will need to wait for your parent as you always have done.

For our English you will see the planning says adventure story and then biography and autobiography. The vast majority of the work is going to be based on our class novel – Son of the circus, a Victorian story. The book is written by E.L.Norry.
