This week is transition week where the children are able to send work to their new teacher and the teachers can get to know their new class. This is a little bit different for Room 7 children as I am continuing as their teacher.

For this week I will set our normal maths and English using white rose and bitesize as lots of the children like the routine of this. I will also continue to put some Victorian work as the Industrial Revolution is our topic in Year 6 and increasing the background knowledge of this era will benefit the children.

There will be other bits of work linked to transition.

I really don’t mind if the children complete the ordinary work, the transition work or a mixture of both. I look forward to hearing from all of the children this week.
