What a lovely day Tuesday was and it is supposed to be even better today. If you are going out for some of the sporting activities make sure you have some suncream on. For maths the children can use white rose or bitesize. They both follow the same topics they just word it differently. Year 5 is looking at multiplying decimals by 10, 100 and 1000 and Year 6 is looking at area of parallelograms. I don’t mind which year group you try.

For English you could carry on with making a comic if you wished. Today is :

on bitesize they tell you all about the competition. You are only allowed to use 24 words andit needs to be completed in 7 minutes. Have a go.

There were lots of interesting views on life in Victorian schools. To keep our knowledge of this historical period today we are going to look at toys that children played with. Watch the Victorian toys powerpoint. On the one slide there is a section to compare toys then with toys now. Try to fill this section in. Which toys would you prefer and why?
