The idea of forgiveness has been really important in our RE work this half-term. Christians believe that God will forgive them if they say sorry to Him; they also believe that they have to forgive other people.

I would like you to watch this video and learn about the parable of The Lost Son. It is a very famous story that Jesus told about forgiveness.

1. Create a comic strip retelling of the story of The Lost Son. You will need to pick out the key events and messages from the story – you will need to include speech bubbles.
2. Write a poem about forgiveness.
3. Write a ‘modern’ version of The Lost Son – maybe the family have a family business (instead of a farm) and on of the children goes off to live in the city…
