Diary Writing

There is a long history of people writing diaries to record events, thoughts and feelings during difficult times.
Anne Frank wrote a very famous diary of her experiences as a young Jewish girl living in Amsterdam during the second world war. Samuel Pepys (pronounced Peeps!) wrote a diary which included accounts of the Great Fire of London.
We are living through an extraordinary time. I would like you to document this as a diary. If you would like to share this with me, I would be honoured to read them when we return to school. However, you may prefer to keep your diary private and that is fine too.

Spend 10-15mins (or longer) each day writing about what has happened, how you feel and your thoughts on what is going on. You might want to watch Newsround and stay up-to-date with the latest information. This will be an interesting record to look back on in the future.
