We had a wonderful afternoon today and really enjoyed our visit from Konnie Huq.  Many of us are very keen to get reading about ‘Cookie and the most annoying boy in the world!’ We are still able to order copies of the book if you would like one.

This week in Room 2 we are learning about writing book reviews.  For our lessons on Thursday and Friday we would really like the children to bring their favourite book into school.  It could be a book they’ve read recently or a favourite one from when they were younger.  The children need to be able to talk about the book, summarise the main points of the story, talk about their favourite parts and characters.

Please ensure that any book brought into school has your child’s name clearly marked inside.
