From the 6th September to the 3rd November, families who shop in Aldi stores and spend over £30 can receive a special Team GB sticker which you can then send into school with your children.
Aldi have launched a recent ‘Get Set to Eat Fresh’ initiative, which is committed to help promote a health legacy in schools by improving the healthy eating habits of up to 1.2 million children by 2020. The initiative creates free, downloadable materials for teachers and parents to support young people in developing their understanding of fresh, healthy food. If you are interested, resources which you can download for at home can be found at getseteatfresh.co.uk
Because of this, Aldi are offering 20 schools a chance to not only win an exclusive sports kit but also a cash prize of £20,000 which we could then use to promote healthy lifestyles and eating habits to our children in school.
The poster shown below is one of two currently in our School Hall waiting for the stickers and as you can see, we’ve made a start, but we need over 300 to complete the posters to be in with a chance. Each poster also contains healthy challenges to help inspire our pupils to eat fresh, discover new foods and get active!
Please hand your stickers in at the school office so we can hopefully complete the first sticker chart and get started on the second one!
Please also encourage your friends and neighbours to collect stickers for our school too if they aren’t already collecting them on behalf of another school.
Thanks everyone!
