Our school council is made up of two children from each year group, elected each year by their peers.
The school council, led by a member of staff, will be decide upon regular projects which will enable them to influence the direction of the school.
Current project
Using funds raised from the summer fair, the school council decided upon what play equipment they would like to ensure breaktimes are fun, inclusive and enjoyable for all.
MP visit
We were visited by our Local MP – Daniel Kawczynski. He thoroughly enjoyed his visit and was very impressed with what education at Pontesbury CE Primary School looked like.
He even had time to meet Mrs Crane and the School Council who asked him some excellent questions.
