Our motto, ‘Aim High, Climb Higher,’ underpins everything we do at Pontesbury. We encourage children, through a safe and inspiring learning environment, to become happy, resilient and curious learners and achieve the very best they can.
We seek to provide an ambitious curriculum that engages and intrigues pupils and celebrates their journey of learning and achievement.
We offer a range of extra-curricular activities; the opportunity to learn to play a musical instrument; educational visits to underpin our learning; residential visits; swimming; sporting events; close links with our church and a range of fantastic events orchestrated by our Friends of Pontesbury Primary School.
Our school is at the heart of the community supporting our families; forming links with local business, the library and St George’s Church and taking responsibility for our impact in the local environment (the beautiful Shropshire countryside).
